A consolation feat from LeBron James despite ending his scoring streak

It was great while it lasted. Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James ended his double-digit scoring streak Thursday in their stunning 123-120 win over the Toronto Raptors at Scotiabank Arena after scoring just eight points.
James scored at least 10 points for 1,297 consecutive games—a feat that may never be reached. Lakers coach JJ Redick was just a rookie when James began his impressive streak in 2007.
Although his incredible achievement came to a dead end, the 40-year-old striker still managed to at the top of the listalbeit more insignificantly, after beating the Raptors.
According to Polymarket Hoops, James is averaging the most assists (7.8) with fewer than two turnovers (1.8) per game this season.

The four-time MVP has never been known for a high assist-to-turnover ratio, so the little bit shows that the 23-year-old veteran continues to improve in other aspects of the game.
With his usage rate declining amid impressive campaigns by Luka Doncic and Austin Reeves, James’ turnovers were at a minimum. He had zero turnovers in their close win over the Raptors while dishing out a game-high 11 assists, including a pass for Rui Hachimura for a three-pointer to win.
James had a chance to extend his 10-point streak if he made the final shot. At the very least, if he missed, he could win in overtime. But the four-time champion decided to play the right game and connected with Hachimura.
The Lakers are now 6-1 when James suits up and 16-5 overall, including 9-2 on the road.
They will face the Boston Celtics on Friday.
