John Cena reveals 5-year contract before final match
John Cena has now revealed a surprising announcement about his new five-year VVE deal. Just a few days before his retirement matchCena revealed he is putting pen to paper on a new WWE contract.
Recently in a conversation with Tom Rinaldi of WWE, the veteran opened up about his updates upcoming role with promotion. Opening up about his plans after retirement, the “Leader of Cenation” revealed his future as an ambassador for the promotion.
“I will be the ambassador of VVE. I have already signed a contract for another five years,” he said. “Please, as long as you can. I would like to be in this family as an employee, as part of the contribution as much as I can.”
“It’s not my time to perform anymore. I have a ton of strengths and gifts to pass on. I can’t wait for another mountain to be an ambassador. Maybe the ambassadorship comes with letting more people know to watch this, which was my goal in the first place, and maybe mentoring talent that I wouldn’t spend time with, where can I sit and be? How can I sit and be that guy or girl on TV? I’m looking forward to those things,” Cena continued.
In less than a week, Cena will end his professional wrestling career against Gunter on December 13th. Saturday night’s main event.
