Chicago gets an outfielder in a trade with the Rays

The Chicago White Sox and Tampa Bay Rais agreed on a trade on Thursday afternoon. This trade is sure to fly under the radar; however, the White Sox hope this addition will be beneficial for the team’s future.

The rays have traded outfielder Tristan Peters Sock, according to the Tampa Bay Rays communications team.

“The Tampa Bay Rays have traded Tristan Peters to the Chicago White Sox in exchange for a player to be named or cash consideration.”

The White Sox were linked to a trade for outfielder Luis Roberto Jr. for some time; however, this move to introduce field insurance has no bearing on Robert Jr.’s future.
