Ernest Jones IV reveals Rams’ ‘disrespect’ before return

The NFC West has been a complete bloodbath this season. They have three 10-win teams this season, and all three teams are fighting for the top seed in the NFC. Their games this season have been instant classics, a bloodbath between two giants looking to dominate the competition. Thursday night game between Seattle Seahawks and the Los Angeles Rams were no exception.

The Rams appeared to be well on their way to beating the Seahawks this season after blowing a 16-point lead in the second half. however, The Seahawks clawed their way back into the game behind special teams hero Rasheed Shahid and timely two-point conversions. Seattle ended the game in overtime after touchdowns by Jackson Smith and Njigba and a two-point catch by Eric Saubert.

Considering the game between LA and Seattle was a rivalry game, there was always going to be bad blood between both teams. Seahawks linebacker Ernest Jones IV said the Rams were “disrespect” as they increased by 16 in the fourth quarter.

“Seahawks LB Ernest Jones says Rams offense talked and laughed a lot when they were down 30-14,” reports Lindsey Thierry on X. “Jones called it ‘disrespectful.’ “There’s too much time left,” Jones said.

The Seahawks clinched the game with two interceptions from Sam Darnold to get back at the Rams. Darnold found his groove late in the gameleading Seattle down the field on a nine-play, 65-yard drive in overtime that culminated in a Smith-Njigba touchdown. They braved two points after a touchdown, ending LA with a pass to Saubert.

With the win, the Seahawks have now taken control of not only the NFC West, but the entire conference. With two games left in the season, Seattle is in position to host playoff games until at least the NFC Championship game. No one expected this team to be here right now, but now they are ready to make some noise.
