14 teams have called the Kings about trading for this player
With Sacramento Kings rumors before the Feb. 5 trade deadline, there appears to be a widely known deal likely to happen involving a key player. While a trade involving kings seems inevitablethe latest report from an NBA insider doubles down on the previous discussion surrounding this key rotation piece.
According to Mark Stein of Stein Line, there were about 14 teams who have shown interest in Sacramento guard Keon Ellis.
“An estimated 14 teams have registered varying degrees of trade interest in Sacramento’s Keon Ellis,” Stein wrote.
As mentioned, the interest the NBA has in Ellis is well documented, although the list of teams seems to be growing by the day. Stein would even report last week that Ellis did “most likely player” to be considered a first-round pick as a return for the team.
“The most likely player to be traded between now and Feb. 5, Sacramento’s Keon Ellis, is a strong candidate. League sources say numerous teams are in the hunt for Ellis, and the Kings are believed to be seeking a first-round pick given widespread interest. One source close to the process essentially describes the Ellis trade,” Stein wrote.
The interest in the NBA for Kings Keon Ellis is high

As it is the rumors about Kraljevo will continue until the trade deadline, specifically regarding Ellis, one of the first on the story was ClutchPoints NBA insider Brett Siegel, who told Clutch Scoops that he ‘fully expects’ the 26-year-old to be traded.
“Keon Ellis, he’s a guy that I fully expect to be on the move before the trade deadline, but then again, multiple teams are interested in him. And so, if you’re the Lakers, you’re going to have to give up something of value to really get Sacramento’s attention,” Siegel said in the Jan. 23 edition of Clutch Scoops.
While the averages don’t jump out as he’s averaging 5.4 points while shooting 38.9 percent from the field and 36 percent from deep, his ability as a three-and-d player is coveted around the league, which shows interest. It remains to be seen which team will win the Ellis sweepstakes.
