Like Doc RiversBucks fans are anxious for Thursday’s “trade deadline” to end this soap opera. Giannis Antetokounmpo which highlights this first part of the season. While “Greek Freak” is in the infirmary, Bucks picked up the phone and ESPN announces that they have received four offers. They come from the Warriors, Heat, Wolves and Knicks.

According to insider Shams Charani, the Bucks have sent out counter offers, and their goal is to bring back “top young talent,” or many first-round draft picks.

My understanding is that the Warriors made an offer focused primarily on draft picks, Minnesota offered multiple players, and Miami fell somewhere in between.Charania explained. “The Bucks will have to choose: Do we accept one of these offers and continue negotiations? Or do we wait until the offseason?”

The most balanced offering for heat?

It’s worth noting that neither the Knicks nor the Timberwolves currently have a first-round pick to trade. Another ESPN insider, Brian Windhorst, clarified that the Knicks were in a wait-and-see position and weren’t ready to bust their roster for Giannis. Not right now.

“I just don’t think it’s something that’s hot right now”, Windhorst said.. “It’s very likely that if the Knicks were to outbid some of the other teams interested in Giannis, they would have to include a third team. But as far as I know, they haven’t been active in this direction. If all of a sudden that changes and they start offering players to pick up other pieces, that would mean they’re really going on the offensive for Giannis.”

On the heat side, Miami Herald reports that the Heat’s offer is “most likely” expected to include Kel’el Ware, Wisconsin’s Tyler Hero, the contract of the fired Terry Rozier and at least one other young player? The Heat are reportedly willing to give up their two tradeable first-round picks (2030 and 2032), as well as potentially trading picks in 2026, 2029 and 2031.
