Chris Hemsworth Promises Judgment Day Will ‘Blow You Away’
Upcoming Marvel movie Avengers: Judgment Day it’s going to be an emotional ride, like Thor actor Chris Hemsworth recently promised, talking to journalists.
Speaking to Variety on the red carpet of his latest film, Crime 101, Hemsworth was asked first if MCU fans can expect to “cry” when Thor reunites and Loki (Tom Hiddleston) happen. “I can’t say yes, no, (or) maybe to that question,” Hemsworth said.
While remaining tight-lipped about Avengers: Judgment Day , he promised it was an “incredibly emotional” watch. So get out the tissues, MCU fans.
“It’s incredibly emotional; it’s incredibly powerful,” Hemsworth said before promising, “This is going to blow your mind. I don’t know how they do it.”

The interviewer got another question about the movie. Hemsworth was asked if Thor would connect with the iconic X-Men character Storm. All he could say was, “You’ll have to see the movie.
How will Chris Hemsworth’s ‘incredibly emotional’ Avengers: Judgment Day promise come true?
Fans will have to wait around 10 months to find out just how “incredibly emotional” Doomsday is. It will be released on December 18, 2026 and marks Hemsworth’s return to the big screen as Thor.
He will lead the ensemble as Thor. The film will bring together several Marvel properties, from the Fantastic Four to the X-Men. Characters such as Reed Richards (Pedro Pascal), Shang-Chi (Simu Liu) and Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie) will cross paths.
In addition, some old characters, such as Steve Rogers (played by Chris Evans), will return in Judgment Day. However, the extent of his role is unknown. All will team up against Doctor Doom, played by Robert Downey Jr. Previously, Downey played Tony Stark/Iron Man in the MCU.
Hemsworth has been absent from the MCU since 2022’s Thor: Love and Thunder. He has helmed four Thor films and appeared in all four previous Avengers films.
