Giannis Antetokounmpo has some hilarious in-game tips for Tacko Fall
Somewhere between a fine coin, a wild air strike and Giannis Anetokounmpo is stepping upFriday’s All-Star Game reminded everyone why the annual spectacle remains one of the purest joys of the midseason break.
Antetokounmpo and his brothers, Thanasis Antetokounmpo and Alec Antetokounmpo, and MLB star, Mookie Betts, were selected to coach Team Giannis against Team Anthony at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles.
Team Anthony is coached by comedian Anthony Anderson, content creator Lethal Shooter and popular trainer Chris Brickley.
In the second quarter, Antetokounmpo replaced the former NBA center Thank you Fallwhich is easily the tallest of all in the place. The two-time MVP then spoke hilarious joke to a fall of 7-foot-6.
“Stop trying to be like Wemby, be like Shaq!” Antetokounmpo said, drawing a smile from Fall.

Fall, who played two seasons with the Boston Celtics and one with the Cleveland Cavaliers, was one of three former NBA players in the All-Star Game, along with Jason Williams and Jeremy Lin.
Fall, 30, has spent the past few years playing professionally in China and New Zealand. He led the Chinese Basketball Association in blocks in 2023.
Other members of Antetokounmpo’s team include NFL star Amon-Ra St. Brown, comedian Keegan-Michael Key, rapper GloRilla and ESPN insider Shams Charania, among others.
The All-Star Celebrity Game came to life when Milwaukee Bucks shadowed Charani at the trade deadline, appearing to scoff at his reports on Antetokounmpo’s situation. Many felt it was awkward that Antetokounmpo would coach Charania.
