Dylan Harper thinks he’s playing against Ron Harper Jr. for the victory of the Rising Star

Brotherly love was in the air in Los Angeles on Friday San Antonio Spurs guard Dylan Harper and Boston Celtics guard Ron Harper Jr. faced off in the Rising Stars on All-Star Weekend.
Dylan answered for Team Melo, coached by NBA legend Carmelo Anthony, while Ron played for Team Austin, a team of G League players coached by former NBA guard Austin Rivers.
It was a 40-point race, and the younger Harper was the one drained the game winner with the fall, 40-34. Not to mention, he punched over his older brother.

The ridiculous shot pumped up Anthony, who was grinning widely on the bench.
Team Melo will battle for the title against the winner of a matchup between Team Vince and Team T-Mac, coached by NBA icons Vince Carter and Tracy McGrady, respectively.
As Rivers pointed out, it must they were surreal that the Harper brothers share the court on All-Star weekend. They must have fought countless times during their childhood. Now they do it in the NBA. Their father, five-time NBA champion Ron Harper, must be extremely proud.

Dylan had 10 points, one rebound, one steal and one block. Ron was unable to score, but had seven rebounds and two assists.
19 year old Dylan is enjoying a productive rookie season with the Spursaveraged 10.9 points, 3.4 rebounds and 3.7 assists off the bench.
Meanwhile, the 25-year-old Ron has a two-way contract with the Celtics. He recently got his first start, posting 11 points, nine rebounds and three assists in Boston’s win over the Houston Rockets.
