ANTA unveils Kyria Irving’s Hela and KAI collections in Paris, combining performance, heritage and storytelling.
Anta, a rapidly expanding brand, has just officially launched its European and UK platforms, which are now available on eu.anta.com. To mark the occasion, the brand has chosen Paris and the Footpatrol concept store to host an impressive presentation of collections designed by Kyrie Irving, the leading figure in its international expansion, from October 18. Since the beginning of their partnership, the Mavericks leader and Ant have shaped a universe where technology, cultural heritage and storytelling coexist in an almost artisanal approach. Their mantra: the love of basketball is universal.
Among the new products, the Hela Style “Roots” lifestyle model takes center stage. Designed exclusively for the former NBA champion, it combines a skate-inspired aesthetic with very personal symbolism.
Its outsole, divided into four sections (Root, Court, Tribal and Cultural), serves as the playmaker’s spiritual identity card: family, mastery, indigenous heritage and inner harmony.
In the same vein, there are Hella Code etc Hello tribe. The first is a “performance” model, which combines Antina’s technological expertise with textures and graphics inspired by Kirie’s history and Native American heritage. More focused on lifestyle, the Hela Tribe model draws even more inspiration from the player’s roots.
On the field, Anta promotes of the KAI Series. A flagship shoe duo signed by Kirie, the brand’s artistic director KAI 1the first model in the range, it was a huge hit with the general public, with a specially designed upper that highlighted the Mavs leader’s Native American origins.
The model also stands out with a Velcro closure on the laces. The Kyrie Irving logo appears on the tongue and under the sole. The sole has the same “nitrogen” foam as Klay Thompson’s KT10.
Released in July, the KAI 2 embodies the Know Your Power philosophy, with increased flexibility and traction designed for dribblers.
