At Warriors, we quickly forgot the Green-Ker confusion
Nothing like a third straight success, with 11 players scoring and 33 assists to forget conflict between Steve Kerr etc Draymond Green. The two protagonists have already ironed things out at the press conference, and this win against the Mavericks definitely put this incident in the danger drawer of a long life together.
“They are in a much better state of mind,” assures Stephen Curry. “I already talked about it on Monday: they are real professionals and they handled the situation very well. That’s exactly what they did, and that’s how we reacted as a team. Things like this happen. They have years and years of relationships behind them, with their ups and downs. When you’re a professional, you come back the next day with fresh eyes. They did well, and we reacted well in training.
“Let’s move on”
For Jimmy Butler, the Kerr-Green episode ended up being just an obligatory passage in a relationship that had lasted so long.
“It’s part of the game,” he summarizes, very close to a triple-double against Dallas. “When you’ve been together that long, there’s bound to be disagreements. Not everything can be peaceful and that’s okay. These are two fierce competitors who have won together and want to keep winning. We know what that is. I just looked up and said to myself, ‘Okay, it’s normal for this to happen.’ And we move on. »
On the court, Draymond Green played Draymond Green with 7 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 turnovers in 28 minutes. The successful return of Al Horford and this three-game winning streak should allow Steve Kerr to attack this “trip” east in a more relaxed manner.
