Bam Adebayo, Norman Powell’s injury status against the Jazz

Given that Bam Adebayo is probably on Heat injury report, it’s a good guess he’ll play the Jazz. With Powell, the answer is a little less certain. He is questionable after leaving the Heat’s game against the Washington Wizards on Sunday with a back injury. A final decision on Powell’s status likely won’t come until shortly before the game. He had 21 points and four rebounds in 25 minutes before exiting.

Powell is in his first season with the Heat after being traded to the LA Clippers in the offseason. He was recently selected for his first career All-Star appearance. He has appeared in 45 games this season, all starts, with just over 30 minutes per game.

He is averaging a career-high 23.0 points, 3.6 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.2 steals on 47.4 percent shooting from the field, 39.6 percent from the 3-point line and 84.3 percent from the free throw line.
