Brandin Podziemski, Quinten Post gets in a tough moment against the Pelicans
Things are heating up for a a depleted Golden State Warriors team. In Tuesday night’s 113-109 loss to the hapless New Orleans Pelicans, there was a tense moment between Brandin Pod Ziemia and Quinten Post after the latter disagreed with the former’s decision on an offensive play.
With just over two and a half minutes left in the third quarter, a screening action led to a Pelicans turnover, leaving junior Brice McGowens to defend Post in the post. Podziemski, however, had Derrick Quinn on him and thought he could punish the mismatch instead. In the end, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr didn’t like what he saw and called a timeout.
The pause in the action gave Posta time to express your frustration towards Podziemski because he didn’t give him the ball in the post. The argument became so heated that Draymond Green had to step in as a peacemaker, separating the two and preventing them from engaging in a full-on fight.

The basic play to make was to pass the ball to the big man for an easy two, but perhaps Podziemski was wary of putting the ball into the post because of the possibility of a turnover. Either way, it seemed like the Warriors bench told Podziemski that it was a game under the circumstances, and only time will tell if the third-year player learns anything from this moment.
The warriors are in danger
At this point, it’s safe to say that the Warriors won’t be contending for a title this season and for the foreseeable future. Jimmy Butler will be sidelined for a long time with a torn ACL. Kristaps Porzingis is notand was never in the first place, the answer, since he has significant health problems. Even Stephen Curry is nursing knee problems.
The Warriors have been brave amid all the absences of their key players, but to say they are not in danger would be a lie.
