On Sunday night, The Detroit Pistons will score parquet floor at home for playing against the lowly Brooklyn Nets. Cade Cunningham is on the injury report for this game, currently listed as probable due to right hip soreness. Here’s everything we know about Cunningham’s injury and his playing status against the Nets.

Cade Cunningham’s injury status against the Nets on Sunday

Given his likely designation on the injury reportit seems more likely than not that Cade Cunningham will be able to try Sunday night against Brooklyn. Cunningham played in the Pistons’ final game, defeating the Golden State Warriors en route to sealing their Western Conference sweep.

Cunningham is joined on Detroit’s injury report by reserve Caris LeVert, who is questionable with an illness.

Meanwhile, Noah Clowney will be out for the Nets with a lower back sprain, while Zaire Williams will also be out with a left calf contusion.

Often, a team’s first home game after a long road trip on the opposite coast can be challenging, as they adjust to being back in their usual time zone and can be a bit jetlagged. However, the Pistons will benefit from playing against a Nets team that is one of the worst in the NBA, going 13-34 in this matchup.

The Pistons’ number one priority in this game will be finding a way to stop Nets wing Michael Porter Jr., who scored 38 in a recent game against the Denver Nuggets and has been one of the lone bright spots on an otherwise struggling Brooklyn team this year.

Anyway, tip-off between the Pistons and Nets is set for 6:00 PM ET from Detroit.
