Cooper Flagg, Kon Knuepel are 1-2 in NBA Rising Stars Draft



Duke basketballRising stars will shine on the NBA stage during All-Star Weekend. Both Cooper Flagg and Knuppel could will participate in the Rising Stars NBA game February 13. It’s a showcase featuring the NBA’s top rookies and second-year players.

Both Flag and Knupel entered as the top two picks in the draft, according to the NBA. Flagg was the first pick selected by head coach Carmelo Anthony, while Knueppel was Tracy McGrady’s second pick.

In addition to Anthony and McGrady, Vince Carter is also an honorary coach in the game for the Stars on the rise.

Both Flagg and Knuppel were outstanding talents at Duke. Flagg played one season from 2024 to 2025. Overall, he averaged 19.2 points and 7.5 rebounds per game. Flagg won the AP National Player of the Year as well as leading the Blue Devils to the Final Four.
