It would be serviced Danny Avdia (29 points, 11 rebounds, 10 assists), Donovan Clingan (24 points, 12 rebounds) opened the scoring, and the pivot had a hot hand at the beginning of the match. He is accompanied by a French-speaking duo Sidi Cissoko (7 points, 6 rebounds) – Toumani Camara and Portland quickly leads the tenth (20-10).

Caleb Love ends this first act with another shot from long range, a sector where the Oregon franchise shined in the first twelve minutes of the game with 6/12 from behind the arc. After scoring threes, the Blazers attacked the circle and the Spurs could not contain the guests’ attacks during the first half of this second act.

It’s just that Tiago Splitter’s attack stopped and they experienced a deficit in which they did not score even the smallest point in the game for four minutes, as Sidi Cissoko who then missed a three-pointer to which he responded Dylan Harper. The Texans then used the opportunity to go 15-1 to get back within one point (46-45). However, the Blazers still lead when entering the locker room (55-51).

Return to San Antonio in vain

WHAT TO REMEMBER

Two towers. Victor Wembanyama’s absence gave way to an interesting duel between Donovan Klingon and Luke Cornet. The Blazers pivot was the first to come up with eleven points in less than three minutes, while the Spurs interior waited until the second period to come out of his frame. Early in the second period, he gave San Antonio its first lead of the game, then finished off an alley-oop by Stephon Castle in the final act. Donovan Klingan finished with 24 points and 12 rebounds. For his part, Luke Cornet finished this game with 23 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 blocks.

De’Aaron Fox wakes up late. If the Spurs managed to get back into the game thanks to the duo of Luke Cornett – Julian Champagne, De’Aaron Fox tried to take control in the last act. The Spurs’ leader scored 10 of his 19 points in the fourth quarter, but missed a late shot that could have given San Antonio the lead and a second in the final moments that could have allowed the Texans to pull back within one possession.

You can triple Danny Avdi. To carry the Blazers, Danny Avdia was on all fronts. Early in the game, he appeared to add this first “assist” to Donovan Clingan to open the scoring, while at the end of the game, he sealed the victory for Portland with a 3-pointer. The winger achieved his third triple-double of the season with 29 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists.
