Derrick Quinn sends a warning to the Hawks after the Falcons are booed

New Orleans rookie Derrick Quinn has been hitting it off lately. Even the Atlanta Falcons took notice.
The Falcons easily beat the New Orleans Saints24-10, at the Caesars Superdome on Sunday to snap a five-game losing streak and improve to 4-7. After the game, the Falcons account on X had a post inspired by the Queen.
“Marked safe by Derrick Quinn,” read the caption, including a video of the defensive tackle celebrating the Arms of Orhoro.
20 year old queen he couldn’t help but react: “January 7th, 2026 at 6:30 PM Central Time”, referring to their next game against the Atlanta Hawks.
It looks like the young center already has a date circled on his calendar as he wants to return to Atlanta for calling him out, albeit jokingly.
The Pelicans lost to the Hawks 115-98 on Saturday. Quinn had 20 points, nine rebounds, three assists and two steals.
Fans expressed their support for Queen after his subtle warning.

Quinn had a slow start to his freshman campaign, but has since taken off, averaging 14.6 points, 7.1 rebounds and 4.5 assists in November. In the last three games, he scored 23.3 points, 8.3 rebounds and 6.0 assists.
The 13th overall pick out of Maryland showed off his all-around game, with praise from Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic and NBA legend Tim Duncan.
The Pelicans, however, have struggled with just two wins in 15 outings.
