Even James Harden was surprised by the news about Chris Paul

The Los Angeles Clippers they are the talk of the town, albeit for the wrong reason, after he lets them go Chris Paul— a move that caught the veteran playmaker and the entire league off guard.
Paul signed with the Clippers in the offseason for his second stint in the team. He recently announced that it will be his last season in the NBA. But now, what was expected to be a farewell tour is in jeopardy.
According to a report from ESPN’s Ohm Youngmisuk, even James Harden he had no idea that Paul cut himself.
“I woke up and saw it on social media. I’m just as confused and shocked as you guys are, the world. It definitely surprised me, but not just Chris, there’s a lot that we’ve dealt with, but it’s out of my hands,” Harden said.
According to multiple reports, the Clippers didn’t appreciate Paul’s constant complaints about the team’s direction during their rough campaign. Some sources indicated that Paul and coach Tyronn Lue did not speak a few weeks.
Harden and Paul reunited with the Clippers after playing together with the Houston Rockets. During their time in H-Town, there were instances of Paul arguing with Harden, though both simply brushed them off, stressing that they were just avid gamers.
Forty-year-old Paul decided to return to Los Angeles to be closer to his family in his last hurray. It was seen as a touching move, but apparently, things in the dressing room were not so sharp.
Paul, a 12-time All-Star, could still draw a lot of interest from other teams, although he said in the summer that he doesn’t want to leave again with his family.
