Jalen Green’s injury status against the Clippers on Sunday

Given his question mark on injury reportthere is currently some doubt as to whether Jaylen Green will be able to play for the Suns against the Clippers on Sunday night. Green has appeared in just four games for Phoenix this year after being traded away from the Houston Rockets, though he did play in the Suns’ final game against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday, which turned out to be a big home win.
Meanwhile, Devin Booker will be out for this game with a sprained ankle.
For the Clippers, no one appears on the injury report other than players who have been sidelined for a long time, including Bradley Beal and Derrick Jones Jr.
The Suns have been one of the NBA’s biggest success stories so far this year, and Dillon Brooks has taken his offensive output up several levels, including a 40-point game earlier this week. Meanwhile, the fact that Green hasn’t even hit his stride yet this season for Phoenix is certainly cause for optimism for the franchise going forward, and it will be fascinating to see how head coach Jordan Ott and company decide to integrate the talented wing into a system that’s already clearly working.
Anyway, tip-off between the Suns and Clippers is set for Sunday night at 8:00 PM ET from Phoenix.
