Isaiah Hartenstein sets a new career high with a 33-point performance
Doc Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored another 30 pointsits center, Isaiah Hartensteinhad a career high, leading his team to a 131-101 victory against the Sacramento Kings. Hartenstein notched his fifth double-double of the regular season in the first half, where he scored 20 of his 33 points.
Hartenstein led his team with 14 of 17 attempts from the floor, 19 rebounds, three assists, three blocks and one steal.
Isaiah Hartenstein, whose career high was 24 points, nearly surpassed that in the first half against the Kings. The Thunder’s offense found him under the rim early and often for open looks. Isaiah also hit rebounds amid second-chance opportunities, fast breaks and at the free throw line, where he connected on 5 of 6 attempts.
Gilgeous-Alexander finished with 30 points on 12-of-20 shooting, including a pair of 3-pointers, three assists and two steals. Ajay Mitchell had a double-double (18 points, 10 assists) with three steals in his second start of the season, and Cason Wallace had 15 points. All five Thunder starters scored in double figures. Isaiah Joe led the score on the bench with 14 points and six rebounds.
Hartenstein’s shooting efficiency, which is a shade below 70% (67.9%) this season, has increased his average from 11.2 to 12.9 points per game in 2025-26. It also increased his free throw attempts, which went from 2.1 per game last season to 2.7 in his first 10 games of the regular season.
Hartenstein also averages a team-high 11.7 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.6 steals per game.

Thunder All-Star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Isaiah Hartenstein led throughout A win on Friday against the Kings, no tie and no easy finishes. It was a game of two that their opponent was fighting against. Gilgeous-Alexander moved like a magnetic force through the teeth of the Kings defense, creating space for Hartenstein under the hoop for easy layups.
Hartenstein also showed his moves in the post against the big Kings, including Drew Eubanks, who chased him around the court all night. Hartenstein has also extended his inside touch to the free throw line, where he often uses his floater against shorter defenders.
In a game where the Thunder returned Chet Holmgren to their lineup, it was refreshing to see Hartenstein take the initiative, be aggressive when he saw opportunities for his offense to flourish, and remain relentless, resulting in a career-high 33 points.
