James Harden’s brain fart against the Hawks leaves Steve Ballmer in disbelief
On Monday night, The Los Angeles Clippers are down to 3-7 in the young 2025-26 NBA season with a tough loss at home against the Atlanta Hawks. James Harden was mostly excellent in this one, recording a triple-double with 35 points, but the Clippers ultimately fell victim to a hot shooting night from Hawks reserve Whit Krejci, who scored 28 points and hit eight 3-pointers.
Late in the game, the Clippers had a chance to tie the score due to an Atlanta turnover, and Harden launched a 3-pointer from the logo despite the fact that there were 15 seconds left on the clock.
Harden missed and the Hawks rebounded, leaving the Clippers in possession Steve Ballmer in disbelief at the questionable selection of footage.

The Clippers would eventually get another chance to tie the game after the Hawks missed two free throws and Harden passed the ball down the court to Nick Batum. However, Batum ended up getting the ball that was kicked out by Krejci, and Hawks big man Mo Gueye then secured the loose ball and launched it down the court as the buzzer sounded.
A tough loss for the Clippers

The Los Angeles Clippers are now 3-7 in this early stretch of the season, despite the fact that Harden continues to play at an All-Star level every night.
Kawhi Leonard has been out for more than a week with no return date yet announced, and Bradley Beal was also out for Los Angeles against Atlanta.
Still, even with those injuries, the Clippers and their fans probably expected a much better start than this, given the fact that Los Angeles went seven games with the Denver Nuggets in last year’s playoffs.
The Clippers will get their first shot at the Nuggets this year when the two teams take the floor Wednesday night in Los Angeles. That game is scheduled to begin at 10:30 PM ET from the Intuit Dome.
