Jared McCain got a huge crowd reaction in his OKC debut
Jared McCain was excited to play in front Oklahoma City Thunder home crowd after being traded to the defending NBA champion, and he was not disappointed. The sophomore guard received big ovation when he took the court at the end of the first quarter of Saturday’s game against the Houston Rockets. If someone wasn’t familiar with him, they might think he was a pillar of the franchise based on how the fans reacted.
It could just be southern hospitality, or maybe the Paicom Center is amped up to see this promising talent in action. McCain jumped into a pull-up near the free-throw line early in the second quarter, scoring his first basket as a member of the Thunder. Perhaps a favorable alliance will soon begin.
