Josh Hart blames artificial intelligence for Jalen Brunson’s sack-less moment


Some fans caught the interesting moment in between Josh Hart and Jalen Brunson following The victory of the New York Knicks in the finals of the NBA Cupbut the former minutes champion blames it on the AI.

As the Knicks hoisted the NBA Cup trophy, Hart was seen jabbing his thumb into Brunson’s butt. His hand started on Brunson’s shoulder before he moved lower, and Brunson reacted immediately, turning to look at Hart.

After a moment at 1:11 a.m. EST on December 17, 2025, Hart took to X, formerly Twitter, to react to a viral moment. “D**n in 4K,” he wrote alongside several crying laughing emojis. He followed it with another post saying, “It was AI,” nearly an hour later.

It’s unclear what Hart did after winning the NBA Cup Finals. He and Brunson celebrated with their teammates, but Hart seems to have gone too far.

Hart and Brunson have a fun dynamic as teammates. He recently interrupted a press conference with Brunson, smiling creepily at him from a distance.

The Knicks defeated the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA Cup Finals and won the tournament for the first time in the season. Brunson had the second most points on the team, scoring 25 points on 27 shots. He also had eight assists.

Hart didn’t score nearly as much, recording just 11 points, but he was effective. He hit five of his seven shots and had eight rebounds and three assists.

Brunson is one of the best scorers in the NBA. He is averaging 28.8 points per game in 25 games and is coming off a season in which he averaged 26 points per game. The year before, he averaged a career-high 28.7 points per game.

Hart has had a career revitalization since joining the Knicks during the 2022-23 NBA season. He is coming off one of the best seasons of his career in 2024-25, averaging 13.6 points, 9.6 rebounds and 5.9 assists per game.
