Julius Randle already made it on a trade tweet after Quinn Hughes

Julius Randle relishes the opportunity to star alongside Anthony Edwards on Minnesota Timberwolves (17-9), the franchise that was perfect fit for the former All-NBA Second Team selection. However, he is not only loyal to the Wolves.

Randle, who expressed his support for new Minnesota Wild defenseman Quinn Hughes on social media last week, came out in St. Paul’s Grand Casino Arena to support a mid-season purchase and a local NHL team. Three-time All-Star posted a video of him and his two sons attending Tuesday’s game between the Wild and the Washington Capitals.

“I brought the family here, super excited that we were able to catch the game,” Randle said in jersey, according to the team’s X account. “Sick atmosphere. Thanks for having me.”

The 31-year-old embraces all that the Land of 10,000 Lakes has to offer. He picked a good time to watch Wild compete. Minnesota (19-9-5) is riding a four-game winning streak and currently sits in third place in the Western Conference. Management hopes to capitalize on the team’s success, as it illustrates The Hughes are moving.

Minnesota sent Marco Rossi, Liam Ohgren, Zeev Bujum and a 2026 first-round draft pick to the Vancouver Canucks for the 2023-24 Norris Trophy winner. Quinn Hughes scored against the Boston Bruins in his Wild debut on Sunday. He recorded an assist against the Capitals, giving the home team a 2-0 lead in the second period.

Maybe he can light the lamp for Julius Randle, a man who’s quick to succeed on his tweets. No. 30 will enjoy a night off with his family, while No. 43 further woos the Minnesota crowd.
