Kevin Durant breaks silence on alleged Twitter account

The Houston Rockets had two representatives at the NBA All-Star Weekend with Kevin Durant and Alperen Sengun, but there was a lot of talk on social media about account allegedly belonging to Durant.
Over the weekend, while the All-Star festivities were taking place in Los Angeles, California, fans took to social media to find a Twitter account purported to belong to and be used by Kevin Durant. Twitter users claimed the future NBA Hall of Famer used the accounts to derail the conversation about current and former teammates.

During the Rockets’ first practice since the All-Star break on Wednesday morning, Kevin Durant was asked about an alleged Twitter account that has surfaced and gone viral on social media.
“I know you have to ask these questions, but I’m not here to get into Twitter nonsense,” Durant said. “I’m here to focus on the season and keep trying. But I understand you have to ask those questions. My teammates know what it’s like, we’ve been locked in all season. We’ve enjoyed the break, we had a great practice today and we’re looking forward to the trip.”
