LA shares information on Luka Doncic’s injury for the Wizards game

Recently, the Los Angeles Lakers he got scared when Luka Dončić fell off with The Cleveland Cavaliers’ absurdly elevated court and it was for a short time. Fortunately, Dončić was able to to get back into the game, which the Lakers lost by 30 points despite being within 2 at halftime.
Now, the Lakers have learned more about their superstar’s status for their upcoming road game against the Washington Wizards on Friday night.
“Lakers say Luka Doncic (sore left ankle) is questionable for Friday’s game at Washington,” NBA insider Marc Stein reported on X, formerly Twitter.
There was also some good news regarding Austin Reaves, who has been out for several weeks with an injury.
“The Lakers are also listing Austin Reaves as questionable following his lengthy bout with a strained left leg,” Stein said.
The Lakers’ latest injury update comes in the midst of their annual Grammy tour, which takes them to several East Coast cities, including Washington and New York over the weekend. The Lakers started to string some wins together, including a comfortable win earlier this week against the Chicago Bulls, but that all came to an end in Cleveland, when LeBron James played arguably his worst game of the year against his former team.
Fortunately, if Doncic is going to miss Friday’s game, it will be against a Wizards team that is among the worst in the NBA this year. Washington recently made headlines by trading C.J. McCollum and Corey Kispert to the Atlanta Hawks for point guard Trae Young, but Young won’t make his Wizards debut until after the All-Star break.
In any case, Washington and Los Angeles will call on Friday night at 19:00 ET from the nation’s capital. The Lakers will surely hope that Doncic will be on the floor.
