Doc LeBron James has rhe returned to Northeast Ohio several times from accession Los Angeles Lakersthis visit is more difficult, like the last chapter of a legendary book. With retirement rumors following his every move, Cleveland Cavaliers fans made sure their hometown hero felt the love.

Before tip-off, the Cavaliers played a moving tribute video on the Humongotron, spanning James’ journey from a teenager in Akron to the man who delivered the city’s historic NBA championship in 2016. When the lights came on, “Earth” rose as one, giving James a thunderous ovation that echoed for nearly two minutes.
