Mike Brown’s hilarious beer claim will have fans giggling
Mike Brown is experienced in different ways. Many believe it was worn by LeBron James. Others point to the role he played in leading the Cleveland Cavaliers to the 2007 NBA Finals, while also crediting him with briefly reviving the Sacramento Kings after a 17-year playoff drought. Now, he’s a man who has to boost the New York Knicks to the NBA Finals, otherwise the season is doomed.
Amidst all the different opinions about him, what gets lost in the shuffle is the head coach’s big personality. Brown is quite the character, and he showed that after Tuesday night Victory in the NBA Cup 124-113 against the San Antonio Spurs. After a tough fight, in which the Knickerbockers overcame an 11-point deficit in the second half, Brown got a little choked up. However, he was not emotional. The man only felt the physical effects drinks after the game.
“Sorry, I just had a beer,” Brown told the media, according to the “Oh no, it’s not X” account. “Usually when I drink beer, it gets stuck in my throat, so {sorry} about that. Sorry mom.”
