OG Anunoby boasts that the NBA Cup title is just the beginning for New York

The 28-year-old Anunoby praised their physicality against the Spurs, limiting them to just 41% shooting. The Knicks also dominated with 56 points. However, he also credited San Antonio with giving them a tough fight.
“Every time we play and go out there, we want to win. We know you have to be a great team to win here. So we knew it was the best of the best and we played an amazing San Antonio Spurs team. They’re really talented. It was a great game,” Anunoby added.
Jalen Brunson, who was named MVP of the NBA Cupalso played for New York with 25 points, four rebounds and eight assists.
The Knicks are guaranteed over $530,000 each triumph in the NBA Cup, and coach Mike Brown declared that he would hang his championship banner in Madison Square Garden.
