Mike Tomlin reveals the truth about Ohio State after Jack Sawyer’s INT
The The Pittsburgh Steelers picked themselves up an impressive victory over the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday afternoon, dominating the game thanks in large part to his defense. Daniel Jones, who played at an MVP level for most of this season, returned to the New York Giants version of himself, turning the ball over several times in the loss.
One of those turnarounds came courtesy of an interception by Steelers linebacker Jack Sawyer, who the team selected out of Ohio State in the fourth round of last April’s NFL draft.

“That’s why I’m going to Columbus, Ohio,” Tomlin said, per Ohio Tate on X, formerly Twitter.
Indeed, the Steelers have a reputation for drafting Ohio State players, including fellow rookie quarterback Will Howard, who helped lead the Buckeyes to a national championship last year but has been sidelined by injury so far this year (and the presence of Aaron Rodgers).
Big win for the Steelers
Things weren’t looking very encouraging for the Pittsburgh Steelers before their matchup against the Colts, as the team suffered a loss to the Green Bay Packers the previous week and the Baltimore Ravens quickly clinched a spot in the AFC North division.
Even before the game, there was a scare when Aaron Rodgers was seen grimacing and holding his hand during warmups.
However, all those bad vibes went out the window with the team’s game against Indianapolis, as the Steelers dominated on both sides of the ball and kept the Ravens at arm’s length in their comeback bid in the division.
Of course, one win won’t alleviate every problem for Pittsburgh, and the team will need to start putting together these kinds of performances more consistently to get their fans fully on board.
Anyway, next game for the Steelers is a road game against the Los Angeles Chargers next week.
