Nikola Jokić gets Viktor Vembanjama to sign the shirt in a unique way
Nikola Jokic he may be a three-time MVP and reigning champion, but even “The Joker” knows when he’s in the presence of something otherworldly.
During NBA All-Star Weekend 2026 at the Intuit Dome, Denver Nuggets the superstar admired Victor Vembanyama to a new hilarious level. While the rest of the world team was busy exchanging signatures, Jokic was chasing the San Antonio Spurs phenom with a special request.
“Where’s the alien? I want an alien,” Jokic was heard saying, referring to Vembanjama’s logo. Not missing a beat, Vembanjama replied, “Say less,” before drawing his signature alien sign on Jokic’s jersey. It was a light-hearted moment between two generational greats who, despite being Western Conference rivals, clearly share an enormous amount of mutual respect.

While the jersey change was all smiles, the actual game had a bit more bite than we’ve seen in recent years. Under the league’s new round-robin system, Vembanjama proved that he is not alone there for vibrations. The French star led the world team with 14 points and 6 rebounds in the first match against the USA Stars.
The game turned into an absolute thriller, ending in overtime from one to five. After Anthony Edwards forced the extra frame clutch three-pointer, Vembanjama responded with a three-pointer of his own. however, Scotty Barnes of the Toronto Raptors played the spoilerdraining a late three-pointer to give the Americans a 37-35 victory.
Vembanjama didn’t slow down in his second outing of the day either. In a close 48-45 loss to the USA Strips, he scored a gutsy 19 points on 6-of-8 shooting. He nearly forced another overtime, but his last-second deep-end attempt fell short at the buzzer.
Jokic, meanwhile, kept things classic, focusing more on easing up and enjoying the spectacle while playing minimal minutes to manage his health after a knee scare in late December.
