Nikola Jokic reveals his Mount Rushmore of foreign players in the NBA
After answering several questions about the horses, including one from a reporter who asked for advice on how to buy one, Nikola Jokic was asked to reveal his “Mount Rushmore” of international players in NBA history. Usually, players are asked to name their Top 5 players of all time, but this time it was just about the best foreign players to play in the NBA.
“Best international NBA players of all time? Dirk! Wait, who’s ‘international’?” he asks. “I’ll put Manu Ginobili. Giannis. I don’t know if there’s any seniors. Is Hakeem international? So Hakeem. Actually, I’m not going to put Giannis. So Dirk, Manu and Hakeem. Obviously I’m missing some . . .”
The journalist points out to him that he did not quote himself, even though he won three MVP trophies and an NBA champion.
“Maybe at the end of his career” answers before finalizing his Top 5. “Tony Parker.” That’s a good suggestion, he’s won several titles and he’s the Finals MVP. Pau Gasol. Here are five.”
