Noah Liles shares details about his upcoming wedding to Junell Bromfield

Noah Liles has some interesting details about his upcoming wedding to Olympian Junell Bromfield.
The Olympians are set to marry in 2026, and Lyles revealed to PEOPLE that he and Bromfield have some “anime related” surprises up the sleeve.
Lyles added that he was trying to get his fiancee, who he proposed last year after two years of datingin Mango, but admitted that “he might have been a little rough with it, though.”
“I introduced her to Manga first and she didn’t get into it,” he explained. “But later she told me that the reason she didn’t like it at first was because I forgot to tell her that you read it from right to left instead of left to right.”
Although the Manga was hard to come by because Lyles didn’t fully inform Bromfield of how to read it, the Olympic gold medalist made sure her dislike of the Manga didn’t last as she “went back and started reading the Manga herself, and started falling in love with it.
Lyles and Bromfield began dating in 2022 after initially dating in 2018 before hooking up on social media a year earlier. Like Lyles, Bromfield is an Olympian herself, leading track and field for her home country of Jamaica. She last competed at the 2024 Paris Olympics in the women’s 400 meters and finished eighth. Bromfield also competed in the women’s 4x400m.
Lyles also competed at the 2024 Paris Olympics, winning gold in the men’s 100m and bronze in the 200m. In total Lyles has three Olympic medals where he won bronze for the first time, in the 200 meters at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
The two have yet to say “I do,” but they’re already looking ahead to their bright future together.
“When I think about spending my life with Noah, I feel very excited because I know we have a lot of future ahead of us,” Bromfield told People earlier this year.
Lyles interjected, “With the goal of growing old together, with great kids and great-grandkids.”
