Pablo Torre’s next target is Glenn Taylor, who went full Mean Girls to try and attack A-Rod’s sales
The The Minnesota Timberwolves are righteous day from the start of the 2025-26 NBA season with a game against the Portland Trail Blazers. The Timberwolves are now officially owned by the group led by Alex Rodriguez and Mark Lore, after a deal that brought a number of peaks and valleys from the former owner Glen Taylor finally passed earlier this year.
Recently, sports reporter Pablo Torre talked about the discovery he believes he found it on Taylor’s closing process.
“Glenn Taylor, in the months during this push and pull, had two executives create what amounts to a book-burning, ‘Mean Girls’ style list, a list that was described to me as numbered and 77 items long. And this list of 77 things Glenn Taylor broke down the Timberwolves he hates about Marc Lore, and Alex Rodriguez who could communicates with you approve these guys,” reported Torre, via Pablo Torre learns on X, formerly Twitter.
“Some of the items on this list included, Mark Lorre had dinner with Kevin Garnett and he never told me,” Torre said. “Alec Rodriguez did steroids. A-Rod is a liar. A-Rod is a cheater. A-Rod had the longest suspension in MLB history.”
Torre recently grabbed headlines when he made the first reports of the Los Angeles Clippers’ alleged use of Kawhi Leonard’s no-show deal to help circumvent the NBA’s salary cap.
A long saga for the Timberwolves

The sale of the Minnesota Timberwolves saw a number of twists and turns, with Taylor battling with Rodriguez and Lore’s camp until things were finally resolved earlier this year, with the team now in the hands of the former MLB star.
Meanwhile, on the court, the Timberwolves are trying to find a way out of the Western Conference Finals carousel and into legitimate championship contention this year with Anthony Edwards at the helm. It’s unclear how they plan to do that after not making any significant offseason acquisitions and losing Nikhil Alexander-Walker in free agency.
The Timberwolves’ season will begin on Wednesday against the Portland Trail Blazers on the road.
