These two teams have already played earlier this year, and Saquon Barkley had a career day against LA’s defense. But times have changed and the Rams are looking for revenge on their way to another WC appearance. So who goes to the next round?

According to Madden 25, the Philadelphia Eagles will defeat the Los Angeles Rams 33-21 to advance to the NFC Championship game. Just like their Week 12 opener, LA had no way to stop HB Saquon Barkley, who racked up over 180 total yards in the win. The Rams kept it close until late in the third quarter, until Jahan Dotson’s 42-yard touchdown reception made it 26-14.

Philly put things even further out of LA’s reach when Jalen Hurts ran into the end zone for six yards. With a 33-14 lead with less than 10 minutes remaining, the game was already decided. The Rams scored a touchdown in stoppage time in their last-ditch comeback attempt. However, there just wasn’t enough time left for history to happen.

The Rams also suffered an injury after Matt Stafford threw the ball to LB Oren Burks during the two-minute warning in the first half. LA drove well down the field, with a chance to make it 17-14 at halftime. That interception probably cost the Rams a chance to keep things close.

With the win, the Eagles advance to the NFC Championship game, where they will play either the Detroit Lions, or their division rivals, the Commanders. Both teams boast strong attacks, which should make this semi-final exciting. The winner of that game goes to the Super Bowl in hopes of winning the Lombardi Trophy.
