Roquan Smith says the pressure got to Joe Burrow in Week 15
The The Baltimore Ravens shut out the Cincinnati Bengals 24-0 in their Week 15 matchup. Baltimore’s defense in this case was relentless, while the unit was attacking Joe Burrow throughout the game. After the competition, linebacker Roquan Smith had an opinion about the Bureau which he made public.
Speaking to the media, Smith claimed to trust the 29-year-old quarterback was “shaken” by the pressure The Ravens brought in Sunday, according to Josh Tolentino of The Baltimore Sun. Roquan Smith liked what he saw from his defense to get the Bengals star.
“I thought our D-line played a really good game, pressuring Buro the whole game, and it rattled him,” Smith said. “He hasn’t been the same. So I think that’s just something we’ve got to use more going forward. And just keep letting those guys loose and those guys keep putting pressure on whoever we’re playing.”

It’s hard to argue with Roquan Smith’s comments. The Ravens defense attacked Joe Barrow early and often, as the two-time Pro Bowler finished with 225 passing yards, zero touchdowns and two interceptions in Week 15 while completing 64.1% of his pass attempts. Baltimore also managed to sack Burrow three times.
Smith, who is 28, also had a great day. The eight-year veteran led the Ravens in tackles with 14 combined tackles (eight solo). He was everywhere and played a major role in helping Baltimore improve to 7-7.
