The Celtics end up crushing the Kings

The Celtics are continuing their momentum from their great December. in Sacramento, Joe Mazzula’s men won (106-120) by making the difference in the fourth quarter and relying on 8 players with 11 or more points.
If Jalen Brown was the most productive with his 29 points and 10 rebounds, Derrick White again played a key role in this game, scoring 14 of his 16 points in the final period. At the beginning of these last 12 minutes, the two teams were perfectly even (88-88). The previous three quarters were played with one or two possessions.
But the visitors showed their seriousness until the end, where the Californians, led by DeMar DeRozan (25 points) and five other players with at least 10 points (including Maxime Reynaud with 12 points and 8 rebounds), had a lot of difficulty expressing themselves offensively in the finals.
With six minutes to go, after a missed Keegan Murray layup, White sent a 3-point missile into the front of the racket to give his team a 10-point lead (100-110). A free kick that Russell Westbrook, clumsy, couldn’t answer, and neither could Keon Ellis.
DeRozan ended up scoring from mid-range, but Brown flexed his muscles to finish in the circle, then White beat Rayno to sanction from mid-range as well. The visitors found themselves in a comfortable position, as their leader Jalen Brown returned to the bench earlier than expected – with two minutes left – for his sixth foul. No consequences for other events.
WHAT TO REMEMBER
The big Kings cold. Sad shooting range for the Kings in the final quarter. While in contact with the opponents, the Californians spoiled the final by forgetting to provoke from within. And by insisting too much behind the arc, because the address was no longer there: 0/10 from long range (including 0/4 for Westbrook)! The result, only 18 points scored in the last 12 minutes.
Supporting roles increase the skill of the Celtics by 3 points. Jailen Brown? 1/9 on 3 points. Derrick White? 2/7. Payton Pritchard? 2/8. To say the least, Boston’s starters have had difficulty finding a target from behind the arc. The Celtics, however, finished with a solid 17/41 overall, thanks in particular to good performances from Sam Hauser (15 points on 5/7 from long range) and Anferna Simmons (14 points on 4/7).
