The Sixers were fined for playing Joel Embiid without notice

In his press releaseThe NBA specifies that it took into account the history of the franchise because, in fact, it is not the first time that the pivot of the Sixers is announced “out” before the game, but still plays it. A precedent can be cited in April 2024with similar sanctions.
