The Suns won the contest by 3 points in Brooklyn

Ninth defeat in eleven matches for Networkswho lost 126-117 to Suns who are getting closer and closer to the 6th place in the Western Conference, synonymous with direct qualification for the playoffs.
The two teams started the matchup with a bang, combining for a combined 6/10 on 3-pointers in the opening minutes. Phoenix, however, starts much stronger. Driven by ball circulation and aggression, the Suns quickly took control of the tempo. Dillon Brooks was especially inspired with three game-winning shots. Grayson Allen imitates him with two long-distance successes, and Phoenix quickly pulls back the result (40-26). The sun is at 71% in the shots!
Nolan Traore is showing off
In the second quarter, Phoenix continued the offensive festival. Colin Gillespie, Ryan Dunn and Royce O’Neill join the fun behind the arc, while the bench has been used heavily, with Isaiah Livers and Oso Ighodaro heavily involved in the creation. The deficit increases to about twenty points, but Brooklyn finally reacts. The entry of Nolan Traore brings new life, as does the awakening of Michael Porter Jr., the author of 13 points in the quarter after being silent until then. Ziaire Williams and Terrance Mann also added big shots, and the Nets finished the first half with an impressive 24-8 lead and got back within range. At the break, Phoenix kept the lead (72-68).
Returning from the locker room, the Suns accelerate again. Brooks, Devin Booker and Gillespie are finding open shots thanks to this ball that still circulates so well. Despite Brooklyn’s efforts to close the gap, Phoenix was able to regain a comfortable lead. The Suns also use mistakes made on Booker, often caught in two pieces, to keep the pressure on. At the end of the third quarter, the deficit was again significant (103-89).
To experience
Brooklyn, however, refuses to give up in the final act. Taking advantage of the Suns’ offensive slump, the Nets gradually came back, carried by their skill on the outside and the energy of Tyrese Martin and Michael Porter Jr. The deficit was reduced to five points and then to four units after an i-one by Noah Clowney just over four minutes from time. The Phoenix falters but does not break.
Under pressure, Suns then let their experience speak. Booker draws two players and systematically finds the free man, allowing Phoenix to get some air. Brooklyn still has one possession to get back to within nine points with a minute to go at the buzzer, but a missed free kick definitely shuts down their hopes.
Phoenix calmly managed to close out the match and eventually won 126-117, securing their 26th win of the season.
WHAT TO REMEMBER
Brooks pulls the pin out again. Very skilled at the start of the match, and generally very good, Dillon Brooks (27 points) unfortunately spoiled his performance with a technical foul. This is already his 14th of the season, and he is entitled to only two wildcards before an automatic one-match suspension. And we are only halfway through the season.
Jalen Green in the starting blocks. After this success, the Suns continue tonight in Philadelphia, and this back-to-back participation will be marked by the return to the game of Jalen Green, the main recruit of the summer, who has played only 30 minutes so far.
