Victor Wembanyama brought 50 fans to the NBA Cup game

San Antonio Spurs center Victor Vembanyama is a man of the people.
The Spurs faced the New York Knicks on Tuesday NBA Cup title at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. While they were nearly 930 miles from San Antonio, Vembanjama, who arrived in all black, he made sure to bring extra support though.
According to Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints, 21-year-old Vembanyama 50 fans rushed in to Sin City as a treat, continuing the generosity he has shown since entering the NBA.
“Victor Wembanyama has purchased flights and tickets for a group of 50 Spurs super fans called the Jackals for tonight’s NBA Cup game between the Spurs and the Knicks,” Azarly reported on X. “Wemby also had 20 fans for the Spurs v Thunder semi-final.”
“They sit behind the San Antonio bench and stand the whole game.”

Vembanjama has endeared himself to fans because of the way he gives them significance. In the offseason, he held an audition for fans that would consist of a passionate group cheering on the Spurs at Frost Bank Center, as reported by ESPN’s Michael Wright.
The two-time All-Star was inspired by Paris Saint-Germain’s PSG ultras when Spurs watched the game in France in January during their pre-season trip.
Vembanjame, who returned from a calf injury, has repeatedly expressed gratitude to his supporters, and continues to show that it’s not just lip service.
The only important question now is: will Vembanyama also treat fans of The Sphere?
As of this writing, the Spurs lead the Knicks by a narrow margin heading into the third quarter.
