Victor Wembanyama will ‘probably’ get injured in the NBA Cup against the Thunder
The long-awaited return San Antonio Spurs All-Star Victor Vembanyama has finally arrived, and just in time for the NBA Cup semi-final game against Oklahoma City Thunder. He was expected to return to Spurs’ Wembanja for Saturday’s matchup against the Thunder before Friday’s report made things official.
It’s Vembanjama expected to return in action for the Spurs’ NBA Cup game against the Thunder, per ESPN’s Shems Charania.
“San Antonio Spurs’ Victor Vembanyama is likely to return for Saturday’s NBA Cup semifinal against the Oklahoma City Thunder in Las Vegas, sources tell ESPN,” Charania reported. “Final approval will come after today’s training session for Vembanyama, who has been out since November 14 with a calf strain.”
The Spurs will face the Thunder in the NBA Cup semifinals on Saturday in Las Vegas.
